The Zipporah Youth Empowerment Initiative (TZYEI)


The Zipporah Youth Empowerment Initiative (TZYEI) is a Non-Governmental Organization in response to protecting vulnerable and disabled teenagers who had their rights neglected; as a result, have now been subjected to different circumstances such as: domestic violence, natural disasters, unequal industrialization, family disintegration and other problems. Its work is targeted at vulnerable and physically challenged teenagers. Its major strategy is geared towards achieving unprecedented results by getting the teenagers creative working with a total workforce from both internal and external stakeholders who will be mostly teenagers to increase access to the total well-being of the vulnerable.

The TZYEI orgnisation headquarters is situated in the Federal Capital Territory. The organization had successfully worked with NGOs, private companies, OSASO organisation, UNICEF, Loveworld Music and Arts industry in various projects ranging from targeted community outreaches, Advocacy and Sensitization to Brail schools, Socio-Economic Strengthening for teenagers, sexuality education and Life skills to equip young people to champion their own course.


The founder’s achievement earned her certification from different institutions from age five to date with other recognizable and notable Awards from individuals’ organisations and media platforms; prestigious Award from the Duke of Edinburgh on Skill Acquisition, COBIS and AISEN, winning second place in a speaking competition.
She also got other Awards in sports for handball and running on tracks. Two gold medals and one silver. This is through extra-curricular sports activities; handball, long tennis and gymnastics and a gold medal in National station and a yellow Belt in Mixed Marshal Art.
